Turkish Hairways has been cutting Portobello since 2015 — long enough that regulars measure it in years, not haircuts. “I have always came here since they have opened,” as one five-star review puts it.

Inside it's proper Turkish barbering under the gold marquee sign: skin fades, scissor work, hot towel shaves with razor detail, ear and nose waxing — finished in front of the shop's apple-shaped LED mirrors, with the Istanbul skyline running down the back wall.

No appointment needed. Walk in any day of the week, 9am to 6pm.

“I’m really happy with my low taper fade. The cut is clean, smooth, and very well blended around the sides and neckline. The taper is sharp but not too high, which gives it a neat and professional look. The barber paid good attention to detail and made sure everything was even and well-shaped.”
